What this leaves out
- Minimum billing periods. Many contracts bill a whole month for a part month.
- Value-added work: labelling, re-packing, returns, stock counts.
- Transport to and from the facility, which often outweighs the storage.
- Insurance, and any surcharge for hazardous or high-value goods.
