What this service is

This site publishes a directory of warehouse facilities and connects storage buyers with the operators who run them. It is an introduction and quoting service. It is not a warehouse operator, a freight forwarder, a customs broker or a party to any storage contract you enter.

The directory data

Facility records are derived from OpenStreetMap and carry its licence and its errors. Footprint areas are computed from mapped building outlines: they describe the traced polygon, not lettable or racked area, and a loosely drawn outline gives a loosely correct figure. Facility type is read from map tags, which most buildings do not carry — an untagged building is not a statement that it lacks the capability.

Do not treat a directory entry as confirmation that a facility exists in a given form, is operating, or can take your goods. Confirm with the operator.

Quotes and bookings

A quote is an offer from an operator for a specific requirement, valid until the date shown on it. It is not a reservation. Space is committed only when a booking is confirmed, and the storage contract that follows is between you and the operator.

Rates shown anywhere on this site come from quotes operators have given. They are not list prices and do not bind any operator to a future quote.

The calculators

The tools are planning aids. Each states its assumptions on the page. Pallet capacity depends on racking design, floor loading and fire classification that no calculator can know; a racking supplier's drawing against the real building is what you build to. The bonded storage checker is not customs advice — duty treatment depends on the commodity code, origin, regime and the authorisation held by a specific warehouse.

Your account

Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account being used to misrepresent a facility, to scrape the directory, or to send operators requests you have no intention of pursuing.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Beyond that, this service is provided as-is, and we are not liable for losses arising from decisions taken on directory data, calculator output or a quote — including lost profit, lost stock or contractual penalties. Your remedy against an operator lies in your contract with them.

Changes

These terms change as the service does. Material changes will be announced on the changelog. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
